Are you passionate about crafting immersive soundscapes that bring games to life?
Lumo Creations, based in Jyväskylä, Finland, is seeking an Audio Designer to enrich the world of Harmony in the Wild, an open-world adventure where nature’s colors return through player exploration and puzzle-solving.
Our demo is available on Steam, and we aim to release the game in June 2025.
This is an unpaid position starting as soon as possible, ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience and expand their portfolio in game development.
🎧 Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement immersive soundscapes, including ambient sounds, sound effects, and character audio.
- Collaborate with the narrative and design teams to ensure audio aligns with the game's atmosphere and storytelling.
- Integrate dynamic music systems that adapt to gameplay and player actions.
- Continuously iterate on audio assets based on team feedback and testing.
🌿 What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for audio design and a keen ear for detail.
- Experience with audio editing software.
- Ability to create and implement audio assets that enhance player immersion.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Interest in open-world games and narrative-driven experiences.
