This Position is based in Lido - Venice - Italy.
Note - The candidate academic background is very important for the client. Ex - Summits he has attended, papers published, PHD from good school.

Job Summary:
As the AI Engine Leader, you will be responsible for defining and value proposition and the
development of our AI infrastructure of MARE Health that supports various machine
learning and AI initiatives across the organization as well as for external stakeholders like
research teams and start-ups. You will steer an interdisciplinary team of scientists,
engineers, researchers as well as product managers but also collaborate with external
stakeholders to ensure the efficient and scalable deployment of AI systems. You will drive
the AI business case of MARE.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:
o Build, steer, and manage a team of product-/project managers, data
scientists, AI researchers and engineers
o Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous
improvementInternal Use Only
o Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance
evaluations
2. Business and Product Experience:
o Develop our AI Research + Marketplace product- and value offering to
customers
o Define and steer the development roadmap
o Bring in your business and research experience with Data, Machine
Learning and AI architectures
o Create a partnership network with academia, industry and HCP for AI
Healthcare applications and data access
o Drive our AI Business Case
3. AI System Deployment:
o Oversee the deployment of machine learning models and AI solutions in
production environments
o Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI models into the
infrastructure
o Monitor and optimize the performance of AI systems
4. Strategic Planning:
o Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for AI infrastructure
development
o Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
o Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and platforms
5. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their AI
infrastructure needs.
o Communicate technical concepts and project status to non-technical
stakeholders.
o Coordinate with external vendors and partners as necessary
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or
a related field. Academic Research Experience for Machine Learning, Neural
Networks and AI, PhD is a plusInternal Use Only
• Experience:
o Minimum of 3 years of business experience in AI, neural networks,
transformer technology and/or machine learning
o Strong background in designing and deploying large-scale AI systems and
products
o Domain know-how in healthcare is a plus
• Technical Skills:
o Deep understanding of machine and deep learning techniques as
supervised and unsupervised learning
o Experiences with deep learning techniques and architectures of neural
networks and large language models
o Business experiences with cloud computing platforms such as Azure or
Google GCP
• Soft Skills:
o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
o Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
o Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
o Networking
• Language Skills:
o English
o French or Italian is a plus
• Location:
o Should sooner or later be Italy
