Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Developer with a solid understanding of both Android and iOS development to join our growing team at S9 Fintech. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of professional experience building and deploying native mobile applications. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our user-centric financial literacy and goal-tracking mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver exceptional mobile experiences that empower our users to take control of their finances.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain native mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms, focusing on financial literacy and goal-tracking features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as Kotlin, Java (Android), Swift, and Objective-C (iOS).
• Implement user interfaces and experiences that are intuitive and engaging and simplify complex financial information.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into functional mobile applications that resonate with our target audience.
• Integrate with secure RESTful APIs and other backend services, ensuring the safety of sensitive financial data.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality application performance, stability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes, with a focus on security and best practices for financial applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies, particularly those related to fintech and financial security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mobile applications, ensuring minimal disruption to our users.
• Deploy and manage applications on app stores (Google Play Store and Apple App Store), adhering to strict security and compliance guidelines.
• Contribute to the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support), with a strong emphasis on user privacy and data security.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3-5 years of professional experience in mobile application development (Android and iOS).
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Swift, and Objective-C.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, iOS SDK, and related development tools.
• Experience with common mobile architectures (e.g., MVVM, MVC, VIPER).
• Familiarity with secure RESTful APIs and JSON/XML data formats.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, with a focus on accessibility and clarity for financial information.
• Experience with automated testing and debugging tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Experience in publishing applications to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, with a keen understanding of app store guidelines and security requirements.
• Strong understanding of data security and user privacy.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices, particularly in the fintech industry.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications, with a focus on automated security testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), especially in relation to secure data storage and processing.
• Experience with performance optimization and memory management, especially for applications handling financial data.
• Experience with financial applications or fintech.
