Senior Fullstack Developer in MALTA

We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our team and take ownership of a project in the fintech space. You’ll be responsible for leading development efforts across the backend (Node.js, TypeScript, Express, MongoDB, Kafka) and frontend (Vue.js or React).

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an independent, fast-moving environment and enjoys working across the full stack. You’ll collaborate with a technical leadership team for guidance while being the main engineer delivering this project.

• Lead the development of a fullstack fintech application.


• Design and build scalable Node.js (TypeScript) backend services using Express and MongoDB.


• Develop intuitive frontend applications using Vue.js or React.


• Integrate Kafka event streaming where needed.


• Maintain high software quality through best practices, code reviews, and testing.


• Take full ownership of technical decisions and project delivery timelines.


• Mentor and support junior developers, fostering best practices and code quality.


• Collaborate with technical leads to align on architecture and development strategy.

• 5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.


• Expertise in Node.js & TypeScript, with experience in Express and MongoDB.


• Strong experience with Vue.js and/or React.


• Understanding of event-driven architecture and Kafka (a plus).


• Experience building SDKs (nice to have).


• Ability to work independently, taking full ownership of a project.


• Experience in fintech/payments (nice to have).


• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with remote teams.
