A leading Professional Services organisation is seeking an IT Project Manager with previous Developer experience on a contract basis. You will be required to work onsite in Belfast 3 days a week (with relocation allowance at discretion) This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Consultancy working with their Tier 1 Investment Banking client on a high profile programme. Key Skills & Experience
Hands on development experience in any programming languages including Java or C# (minimum 1 year) on enterprise application software
Project Management experience What you will do:
Lead and oversee the strategic direction, development and implementation of IT policy and standard requirements
Implement IT governance model, create Project plans, track and report. Ownership of systems and applications including lifecycle management
Partner with IT Risk and Control teams to assess gaps and identify remediation plans
Strong understanding of Enterprise Wide IT Risk Management framework and Risk and Control processes
Track record of delivering and managing large Projects across multiple businesses and geographies
Strategic thinker with proven ability to lead global teams in a large organisation
Demonstrated experience in delivering change in a collaborative, agile team environment as well as more standard frameworks
Ability to monitor tight deadlines, or unexpected requirement changes
Support the Operations line team with their test preparation and execution
Leads the identification and drives resolution of issues, including those outside of the immediate workstream within their remit
Drives adherence to Project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for Project delivery as defined by IT Leadership What we need from you:
Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked as an IT Project Manager managing teams and delivery on large, strategic cross-functional Projects
