TechGenzi is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and experienced Engineering Lead to handle Full Stack Development (Tech stack: MEAN / MERN). In this role, you will lead a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for defining the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for our engineering initiatives, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions that meet business objectives.


Job Responsibilities


  • Lead the end-to-end product or program lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Define the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for our engineering organization, aligning with company goals and priorities.
  • Drive the architectural design and implementation of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Ensure reusability across products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and product features.
  • Lead by example in coding, code reviews, and technical decision-making, promoting excellence and adherence to engineering best practices.
  • Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and priorities to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
  • Lead and inspire a team of engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Establish and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and processes to optimize efficiency, quality, and innovation.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the engineering team.


Preferred Skills / Experience:


  • Strong technical background in software development, architecture, and system design, with expertise in one or more programming languages and technologies

1. JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Typescript

2. Node.js, Express.js (or Sails.js), Angular (or React).

3. RDBMS (e.g., MySQL or PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB or equivalent)

4. Server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP

5. Configuration Management Systems like GIT

6. Tools and process like Sonarcube, Veracode

  • Experience with modern software development methodologies and practices (e.g., Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, Gitflow, shell scripting, container solutions, docker etc.).
  • Proven ability to drive technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within an engineering organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to balance short-term goals with long-term vision.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under pressure.


Minimum Required Qualification:


  • Bachelors degree in engineering
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of technical leadership and building high-performing engineering teams.
