Job description:

JAVA Developer (m/f/d) for Credit Risk Applications - Relocation to Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Your tasks:

• For the further development of the IT system "Risikomethodenpool," the central credit risk calculation core, large implementation packages are planned as part of Change Visions. These packages, which involve a wide range of diverse and varying requirements of the bank, will be executed collaboratively with the business department in an agile working model.
• In this context, you will take on process activities in the software development and maintenance of applications, focusing on technical design and implementation in the Java environment within a distributed Big Data architecture.
• You will conduct functional analyses, develop pragmatic solution proposals together with business analysts, and participate in the subsequent testing.
• You will also utilize regulatory requirements necessary in the banking environment, such as compliance checks, to ensure the required quality.
• We look forward to your ideas for further developing our tools and optimizing our processes, which you will document using framework management.

Requirements:

• You impress us with a degree in a STEM field or a comparable qualification.
• Through your several years of professional experience in application development, you have gained solid experience with Java and Java Batch Processing and are familiar with the principles of software architecture.
• You feel comfortable in application design and operation, and agile methods such as Scrum or scaled frameworks like SAFe are familiar territory for you.
• You are also proficient in SCM and Continuous Integration with tools like GIT, Maven, Jenkins, or Nexus. Experience with Hadoop, Scala, and Apache Spark is advantageous, but not a must. We will train and continuously develop you in these technologies.
• Personally, you stand out with your analytical sharpness, dedication, and enjoyment of simplifying complex relationships, as well as a strong communicative nature and a passion for learning new things.
• One last thing: Our business language is German, so we look forward to your ability to communicate fluently in German and English, both written and spoken.
