THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As part of Demand Data & Analytics, the Planning, Steering and Performance Measurement Team focuses on monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness ofour online and offlinemarketing campaigns and broader, on creating a better understanding of our customers . Using all available information and by directly collaborating with many other teams across the business, we assess the value of each marketing campaign, as well as overall demand development to plan a short and long term marketing strategy.
As a Senior Marketing Analyst , you will play a key role in understanding the effectiveness of our marketing and support data driven decision making by developing state-of-the art measurement products and providing meaningful data analyses to our Lounge Demand organization and other departments. You'll collaborate closely with Marketing teams, applied/data scientists, engineers, and other analysts to build the best marketing measurement and investment steering solutions.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to align on business requirements and come up with innovative ways of measuring marketing effectiveness incl. establishing measurement strategies and creating steering proposals.
- Provide thorough analysis on the performance of marketing campaigns and marketing touchpoints in the customer journey; reflect their impact on our main business KPIs and set clear recommendations for the business.
- Contribute into building advanced measurement & investment steering products that estimate the short- and long-term impact of marketing efforts and optimize investment decisions. Develop cutting-edge solutions that enable triangulation between MTA, MMM & incrementality testing.
- Act as an expert in the area of marketing analytics, keep up to date with the newest trends in the area of marketing and analytics and exchange closely with your peers across the business.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
- You have an academic degree in an analytical subject, e.g. economics, business analysis, statistics, mathematics, marketing or its equivalent.
- You bring experience in a relevant field ideally at least 5 years in a similar analytical context with comparable questions to the area of marketing measurement, e.g. in marketing intelligence and data analytics.
- You have a great understanding of Marketing and statistical methods (in particular ROI analysis, attribution, geo-testing & incremental uplift, Marketing Mix Modelling); Must have good knowledge of SQL and experience with R or Python; Tableau experience is a plus.
- You apply logical and easy-to-understand frameworks to deal with complex issues and are able to present these to various stakeholders (translate data insights into actionable recommendations).
- Your work showcases your quick thinking and proactive attitude, which also means you keep on top of things in a fast-paced & changing environment. You are able to easily adapt to change and work independently.
