PowerCo SE The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.
How you will CELLebrate
Develop future cell chemistries on a laboratory scale: "Transfer ideas into first hardware"
Plan, conduct and coordinate experiments in the cell development laboratory
Produce slurries, cell components and prototype cells in the development process
Evaluate, develop and take responsibility for innovative manufacturing processes from laboratory to pilot scale, such as mixing, coating, calendering, cell assembly
Chemical, physical and electrochemical characterization of cell components
Develop internal standards for quality measures within the manufacturing process
What you need for our CELLebration
University degree e.g. in chemistry, electro chemistry, material science, physics, process engineering, chemical engineering or comparable qualification
A deep knowledge of battery materials as well as substantiated experience in electrode development and cell assembly
Interdependent and responsible work skills
Strong and collaborative team player
Enjoy creative work
Very good communication skills in English
What else can you bring
Preferably a PhD in the field of lithium-ion batteries
