For our customer based in Warsaw, Poland - an European Institution, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in the area of cybersecurity and law enforcement. You will play a crucial role in driving innovation for one of the key EU Institution projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, analyze business process, and translate requirements into actionable insights.
The job can be performed 100% remotely from any European Union country, with limited travels to Poland with prior notice.
What you should do?
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including EU Institution representatives, data analysts, and technical teams, to understand business objectives and requirements;
- Requirements elicitation and catalogue;
- Business support to the EUROSUR Enterprise architecture definition;
- Support to the EUROSUR 2.0 deployment roadmap;
- Definition of functional design of the EUROSUR 2.0 according to its functional roadmap;
- User stories and use cases;
- Functional support to test cases and support to testing;
- Support to roll out and training of end users;
- Definition of process measurement performance indicators;
- Perform gap and scope analysis;
- Development of process documentation (maps, workflow, templates, designs);
- Support on the setting up of the structure for EUROSUR 2.0 Architecture and process management;
- Requirements analysis and source data mapping for defining EUROSUR 2.0 analytical data models;
- Analyse source data to identify, map, define and document technical requirements needed for data transformation for creating flat tables for analysis;
- Requirements analysis and definition of technical requirements for EUROSUR 2.0 analytical dashboards (web-based reports including charts, tables, and maps);
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical requirements by specifying the data sources, calculations, filters, type of visualisations and any other elements required;
- User acceptance testing of the dashboards created by another team.
Are you the perfect match?
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree (MBA/MSc);
- At least 5 years of proven experience working as an analyst/business analyst/project manager/functional architect or at least 5 years of experience in consultancy in the fields of Intelligence/Law enforcement/Security;
- Relevant certifications: PRINCE2, PMI, PM2 certificate or equivalent,
OR Change management certificate or equivalent
OR IALEIA Basic Analyst Classification or equivalent
OR Police/Military/Security studies or equivalent
OR Criminal Intelligence Certified Analyst;
- Experience in requirements elicitation and analysis from legal frameworks, analysis/modelling tools, data models and logical data models;
- Experience with coordinating initiatives within complex projects and between projects,
- Experience organizing, participating, and presenting at workshops in an international setting - preferably with EU Member States and Schengen Associated Countries;
- Excellent knowledge of the BPMN 2.0;
- Familiarity of the EBCG 2.0 Regulation, EUROSUR Implementing Regulation and the EUROSUR Handbook;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- English language proficiency (C1 level).
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in the public sector/security/law enforcement;
- Familiarity with EUROSUR concepts, stakeholders, core business domains of EUROSUR, and its CIS infrastructure.
