This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing space startup company and play a key role in the development of air-breathing satellites that can breathe air and operate at an altitude of just 200 km - one-third that of conventional satellites.


We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) to join our growing team. In this role, you'll leverage recruitment tools to build efficient recruitment workflows, identify top-tier satellite engineering talent, and enhance our hiring practices. You will have complete ownership of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from candidate sourcing and screening, active headhunting to onboarding.


Key Responsibilities


  • Own and manage our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring timely updates and seamless candidate experiences.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies using latest the AI recruitment tools to attract high-quality engineering candidates.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deeply understand hiring requirements and timelines.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to determine technical competence, cultural fit, and role alignment.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from sourcing and interviews to onboarding.
  • Continuously enhance recruitment processes to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Conduct talent mapping to proactively identify and engage passive candidates.
  • Actively headhunt and engage candidates through targeted outreach and networking efforts.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with strong academic or professional credentials.
  • Interest in space.
  • Experience or strong interest in using advanced AI recruitment technologies and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across various teams and stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive personality.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, innovative engineering environment.
  • Passionate about technology, engineering, innovation, and attracting the best talent to support a startup's organizational growth.


Good to Haves (but not a must):


  • Previous experience (0-3 years) in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • STEM degree or work experience.

Note: This is an on-site, five-days-a-week role based in Reading (20 minutes from London). We provide a financial relocation package.
