Techmunity are hiring for a backend focused Lead Software Engineer on behalf of a Central London who're using the very latest advancements in AI & ML to disrupt the education sector.
They are extremely well funded with an excellent runway, filled with founders and expert ML engineers, so you'll be working alongside true domain experts.
As one of the founding engineers, you will be leading the full-stack development of a high-scale system designed for millions of users.
Your role will be highly varied, ranging from building real-time recommendation systems & CI/CD processes, working on ML model development, to eventually scaling the backend & frontend development teams.
As the Lead Engineer, you will also be empowered to research and make decisions about the technological stack and system design.
They are looking for a highly experienced Backend Engineer who has expertise with:
Building high-load applications/high-scale systems
Python (Django, Flask or FastAPI experience is suitable)
AWS
CI/CD automation pipelines
SQL and NoSQL databases (they're currently using PostgreSQL & MongoDB)
Bonus points for experience with React.js and leading teams - but this isn't essential.
For this Lead Software Engineer role they're paying upto £120,000 + equity + unlimited training budget.
