Web Layout Designer / Maquetador Web - REMOTE (Caribbean) in PUERTO RICO

We are currently looking for a Web Layout Specialist with a technical background to join our team and contribute to the excellence of our digital solutions.

What will be your mission?

You will be responsible for ensuring the precise and functional implementation of web layouts that meet quality standards, align with brand identity, and optimize the user experience, always with a strong focus on conversion and sales.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement web layouts using tools and resources that guarantee quality and performance.
• Ensure usability and accessibility across all devices.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Effectively coordinate and communicate with the Project Manager and other teams involved.
• Stay up to date with trends, tools, and best practices in web layout and front-end development.
• Implement precise layouts within the CMS, adapting each design to the client's visual identity.
• Configure and adapt the booking engine to each hotel's brand identity.
• Manage image and video uploads, ensuring the highest quality.
• Provide training on our web solutions to both new and existing clients.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of web layout processes and optimization.

Technical Requirements:

• Web layout experience (UI/UX), with proficiency in Figma.
• Experience with CMS (preferably Magnolia).
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap.
• Experience in responsive and adaptive web design, ensuring optimal display on different devices.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Basic skills in testing and debugging within web environments.
• Experience in the tourism/hospitality industry is a plus.
• Understanding of emerging trends and technologies in web layout.

Experience & Education:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in web layout.
• Portfolio showcasing past projects.
• Ability to solve layout challenges, find effective solutions, and make decisions based on industry best practices.
• Strong communication skills to interact with different teams, clients, and partners.
• A degree in Web Application Development or a related field is a plus.
• Professional English – C1 (mandatory).
