Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor Reporting to: Head of Logistics & CS

Level : L05

Location: SodaStream Australia – Knoxfield, Melbourne

Purpose of the position

Reporting to the Head of Logistics & CS, the Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory and logistics.This role must comply with all relevant security, safety and quality standards and regulations.

Furthermore, the Warehouse Supervisor will provide vital support to the Head of Logistics & CS and key stakeholders of the organization. This is a key position that requires a strong people leader to create a superior customer experience by overseeing the picking, packing and dispatch of our products.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Ensure optimal levels of performance by planning, organising, leading, and controlling inbound receivals, site warehouse operations and outbound dispatch.
  • Focus on safe operations, high quality, delivering for our customers, managing cost & leading our people.
  • Measure and report on KPI’s that impact the pillars of SQDCP.
  • Lead, train, cross skill and engage your team to meet weekly targets and business objectives.
  • Develop warehouse operation systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, day to day operational management of repack/distribution requirements.
  • Create a high performing team focused on root cause analysis and problem solving.
  • Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.
  • Ensure all customers orders are picked, packed, and dispatched in accordance with company policy. Maintain 5S work practises and have processes and procedures kept up to date.
  • Create and deliver on waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Proactively manage staffing levels to meet business objectives.
  • Liaise with customer service to ensure products are available for delivery as required.
  • Work closely with Inventory team on stock management, cycle counts, stock rotation, re-pack activities and stock takes.
  • 3PL co-ordination and management.

Skills Required

  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices (2-4 years in similar role)
  • Hand on Leader with a high level of attention to detail
  • Physically fit – able to lift up to 20kg
  • Well organised with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Understanding and adherence of OH&S and a zero harm Workplace Safety Policy
  • Microsoft experience or similar ERP knowledge, Oracle preferred
  • Current Forklift Licence
  • Experienced with Warehouse Management Systems
  • Excellent Microsoft Office suit skills

Requirements
