Design, develop and maintain our backend systems using Python
Work closely with our team of developers to ensure that our systems are efficient, scalable, and reliable
Write clean, modular, and testable code
Sharing knowledge through, code reviews, presenting, pairing and coaching your (junior) colleagues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new features
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Thinking ahead in terms of design and architecture for complex solutions
Proposing and leading initiatives to improve code quality. You are passionate about building efficient, reusable code.
You recognize yourself in the following
You obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
You have more than 3 years of experience in Python development
You have basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
You have experience with Django or Flask frameworks
You are experienced in SQL and NoSQL databases
You are familiar with GCP or AWS
Having experience with Pytest is a plus
You give us an extra big smile if you also have some experience with Java
You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
The Agile way of working has no secrets for you.
Experience with REST and/or GraphQL, and Postgres is a plus
Experience with containerization (Docker), logging and monitoring and knowledge of Datadog are all a bonus
