What You’ll Do at SurePay
As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your main goal is to support our product team in delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations and align with our company goals. This is a growth-oriented role where you’ll work closely with team members across different functions.
Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll tackle:
- End-to-End Analysis: Lead the requirements gathering process, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories.
- Collaboration at Its Core: Partner with internal teams, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Technical Specifications: Understand APIs, create API specifications, and test them using tools like Postman. You’ll dive into the jargon of services and AWS to ensure every solution is robust and scalable.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Conduct customer interviews, understand their journeys, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Fraud Prevention & Innovation: Contribute to projects tackling fraud prevention and other groundbreaking initiatives.
- Documentation Mastery: Develop user stories, use cases, process flows, context diagrams, and test cases to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a proactive and resourceful individual who thrives in unstructured environments and takes the bull by the horns. Your ability to influence, facilitate, and execute is key to success in this role.
Must-Haves:
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Excellent logical thinking and strong analytical skills
- Strong understanding of APIs, agile development processes, and user story creation.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, BPMN, Swagger and Postman.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced setting.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Background in software development, SaaS, or fintech.
- Knowledge of customer journey mapping and UX/UI design principles.
- Experience with systems integration and understanding backend/frontend dynamics.
- Strong executor with a “get-it-done” attitude.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Confident in navigating challenging conversations and influencing decisions.
