Key Account Manager - Logistics & Supply Chain

A leading logistics and supply chain solutions provider with a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand. They are recognised for delivering exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and innovative solutions that help businesses optimise their supply chain performance.


Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team in Western Sydney, NSW.


About the Role


As a Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of key customer contracts, ensuring seamless onboarding, achieving operational targets, and maintaining strong business relationships. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to managing accounts, driving efficiency, and fostering long-term partnerships.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the end-to-end onboarding of contracts across Australia and New Zealand
  • Serving as the primary contact for key accounts, collaborating with operational and business development teams
  • Monitoring contract performance, KPIs, and service levels to ensure business objectives are met
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams
  • Identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts and presenting tailored solutions
  • Supporting RFQs, tender responses, and customer presentations
  • Leading customer implementation and relocation projects
  • Managing financial forecasts and budgets for designated accounts


About You


You are a commercially savvy and a relationship driven professional who thrives in a fast paced environment. Your ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and drive account growth makes you a strong fit for this role.


What you bring:


✔ Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of experience in supply chain/logistics account management

✔ Strong background in customer relationship management and business development

✔ A solid understanding of the end-to-end supply chain and logistics lifecycle

✔ Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft, CRM and Power BI
