Sr Network Analyst in CANADA

Our client an established employer in Alberta is looking for a Network Analyst to join their team.


This resource will be responsible for implementing, modernizing, managing and supporting our network infrastructure.


This is a 1-year contract with the potential to extend, fully remote across Canada, and might involve some travel to Edmonton. We have placed consultants here who have stayed on for years.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, modernize, manage, and support network infrastructure with a focus on Cisco Secure Workload.
  • Ensure high availability and security of IT network infrastructure and services.
  • Perform hands-on implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting of network software and hardware.
  • Balance workload and contribute to a collaborative, cross-trained team environment.
  • Lead or participate in networking projects, ensuring best practices in planning, design, implementation, and documentation.
  • Provide technical expertise for cross-functional IT projects.
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues while planning for future software and hardware upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation and procedures.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and cross-training to team members.


What You Bring:

  • Strong experience with Cisco Secure Workload (CSW) and Zero Trust security models a must
  • Hands-on expertise in network implementation, troubleshooting, and policy enforcement.
  • Ability to work in highly secure, mission-critical IT environments.
  • Experience in government or enterprise-scale network security projects (preferred).
  • Certifications related to Zero Trust Networks a must!
  • Experience with public sector ideal!
