Circle K Global Procurement are currently hiring for the role of
Global I.T. Procurement Manager
Type of Employment: Permanent
Location: Ireland, Dublin 4
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)
Reporting to the Global Procurement Director for IT, the IT Procurement Manager will lead IT procurement activities on a global scale. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement initiatives to support the Circle K IT infrastructure and operations. This role requires strong negotiation skills, vendor management expertise, and a thorough understanding of IT procurement and Procure to Pay processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global procurement strategies for IT Cloud Hosting, Telco, Hardware, Software, POS, ERP, Digital & Loyalty, and Project Services to meet the needs of the organization.
- Lead the negotiation of contracts and SOW’s with IT vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery, and service level agreements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and reduce IT spend.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key IT suppliers, fostering collaboration and partnership.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and legal departments, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and technology advancements to inform procurement decisions and drive innovation.
- Manage the procurement budget and provide regular reports on spending, cost savings, and vendor performance to senior management.
- Oversee the selection and evaluation of IT vendors via RFI’s/RFP’s, e-auctions whilst ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive global experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing preferably in the retail industry.
- Deep understanding of procurement best practices, processes, and tools.
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and drive data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CPSM).
- Experience in implementing procurement technologies (e.g., e-procurement, spend analytics, supplier & contract management) is a must.
- Experience working with BPO providers.
- Advanced Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word preferred, and more procurement systems such as Ariba, Jaggaer, Coupa or similar.
