About The Opportunity
The Head of Strategy & Planning, CIO Office will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic initiatives that drive our technology and information systems forward. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and exceptional project management skills to support the CIO in aligning IT strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CIO to develop and implement IT strategies that align with Delivery Hero's business goals. Analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional projects focused on IT initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. Coordinate with various departments to drive project success.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate the performance of IT systems and initiatives. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into key performance indicators.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between the CIO Office and other departments, facilitating communication and collaboration on strategic initiatives. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Resource Allocation: Assist in budgeting and resource planning for IT projects. Ensure optimal allocation of resources to meet strategic goals.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance IT processes and systems. Lead initiatives to implement best practices and drive operational efficiency.
What you need to be successful
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in strategy, planning, or management consulting, preferably within the technology sector. Experience in a fast-paced, international environment is highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Project Management: Proven track record of leading complex projects with cross-functional teams. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies. Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence and lead without direct authority. Experience in mentoring or managing teams is advantageous.
