We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Strategy Expert / Project Manager who is willing to relocate to join our Client's team in Belgium.


This position is part of the CoE Security 'Strategy and Delivery' team, responsible for defining and implementing the bank's cyber security strategy, translating it into concrete initiatives, and overseeing the progress and success of these initiatives. You will play a critical role in shaping roadmaps, aligning investments, managing security enhancements, and ensuring effective collaboration across functions and entities.


Your Responsibilities

  • Data Security Analysis and Design:
  • Perform in-depth analysis of data security requirements in collaboration with security architects.
  • Identify gaps in existing security architectures and recommend enhancements aligned with industry standards, regulations, and Group policies.
  • Influence and contribute to the development of security policies and procedures, particularly in the field of data security.
  • Strategic Planning and Prioritization:
  • Build high-level 3-year roadmaps with prioritized actions and macro-budget proposals.
  • Collaborate with group entities to roll out standard Group solutions, ensuring alignment with business and cyber security needs.
  • Cyber Security Initiatives and Program Management:
  • Direct all phases of cyber security initiatives, from inception to completion.
  • Establish milestones, monitor progress, and identify risks and issues affecting project execution.
  • Coordinate workstreams across multiple functions and departments to achieve measurable business outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
  • Interact with senior management regularly to present updates, proposals, and dependencies within the portfolio of initiatives.
  • Consolidate stakeholder input into concise, high-quality deliverables, supported by clear communication kits for senior management.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration for seamless execution of initiatives.


Mandatory Requirements

  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in managing IT and/or security projects and programs with a focus on multi-functional environments.
  • Expertise in employing project management and change management frameworks (e.g., Prince2, ITIL, ADKAR).
  • Technical and Strategic Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of cyber security standards, policies, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in designing and executing security strategies in large-scale organizations.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to interact at senior and executive management levels.
  • Ability to manage complex deliverables across departments, balancing security and business needs effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC.
  • Experience in data security strategy, particularly within financial institutions or highly regulated sectors.
