Senior Fullstack JavaScript Engineer with spoken French (relocation to Belgium) in PORTUGAL

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Fullstack JavaScript Engineer with good spoken French who is willing to relocate to join our Client's team in Brussels, Belgium.

This role requires expertise in Node.js, React, and Azure Cloud technologies. You will work in a hybrid model (2 days on-site) and contribute to the development of innovative solutions within the banking sector, leveraging your technical skills to build secure and scalable applications.

Your Responsibilities

• Backend Development:
• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Koa.
• Ensure APIs and back-end systems are well-documented, scalable, and performant.
• Frontend Development:
• Design high-quality user interfaces with React and Webcomponents.
• Optimize components for performance and usability across multiple devices and browsers.
• Cloud and Containerization:
• Work with Azure Cloud solutions and pipelines for CI/CD.
• Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that project goals align with business requirements.
• Participate in Agile workflows, including code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning.

Mandatory Requirements

• Extensive experience in Node.js and Koa for back-end development.
• Advanced front-end development skills using React and Webcomponents.
• Strong working experience with Azure Cloud and Azure pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Languages: Fluency in English (C1); knowledge of Dutch or French is highly preferred. For candidates with impeccable technical skills, only English can be considered.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in the banking sector is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in setting up and maintaining secure pipelines and deployments.
