About RevUp Dental 

We’re a digital marketing and software development company working with dentists in US and Canada. Our team focuses on building systems and software to help dental practices attract more new patients, grow their practice revenue, and beat their competition. 

We’ve been transitioning from a traditional digital marketing company that does web design and SEO to more of a Software as a Service (SaaS) product that can support thousands of dentists in North America. 

Your Role 

As a Full Stack WordPress Developer, you will be working with our team to manage our WordPress websites, build new plugins and functionality that our clients require, and improving the existing theme and plugins we’ve created. You will need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute their vision and put the best version of the product forward. While working on multiple projects at a time, also being in charge of the support tickets.  

Requirements 

• Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. 
• Advanced understanding of the WordPress core software and its functions at the code level.
• Experience building custom WordPress themes/plugins that are database driven. 
• Understanding of WordPress coding and security best practices. 
• Understanding of web performance best practices (e.g. analyze and optimize critical rendering path). Working knowledge of MySQL. 
• Experience with Bitbucket, Git, or other version control systems. 
• Possess an ambitious work ethic and able to multi-task and prioritize projects. 
• Experienced in working with teams (designers, copywriters, UI/UX, etc). 
• Not afraid to seek help and ask questions when necessary. 
• Someone capable of creating a clear plan of action and follow-through.
