Radity is a forward-thinking software engineering company specializing in software development, design, and quality solutions, with extensive expertise in fintech and insurtech. We are looking for an Experienced QA Engineer to take ownership of quality assurance for a brand-new InsurTech application.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in financial application testing, has a strong mathematical mindset, and is comfortable working with Excel formulas to verify calculations.
You will start by learning the domain through manual testing, gaining a deep understanding of the application's business logic, financial calculations, and workflows. Based on this knowledge, you will define and implement automated testing, ensuring scalability and long-term reliability. Over time, you will have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role.
Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the QA process of a new InsurTech application, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
- Start with manual testing to understand business logic, financial transactions, and insurance processes.
- Use Excel formulas to verify financial computations and ensure data accuracy.
- Develop structured manual test cases and gradually transition them into automated test scripts.
- Implement test automation using tools like Playwright, ensuring long-term test coverage and efficiency.
- Introduce/Evaluate AI Assisted testing platforms.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman to validate data integrity.
- Work closely with developers to ensure proper test coverage for financial transactions and insurance processes.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring a high level of software quality.
- Stay up to date with best practices in financial software testing and automation trends.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably in financial applications or data-driven software.
- Strong mathematical thinking and analytical mindset, with a focus on verifying financial numbers and calculations.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher for internal and client communications.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas, including complex calculations and validation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with manual testing to understand complex business logic before implementing automation.
- Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Understanding of SQL for querying and validating test data.
