DevOps Engineer in MEXICO

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve company experience, identify production issues and implement integrations that meet customer needs. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with coworkers to conceptualize, develop, and release software.
  • Conducting quality assurance to ensure that the software meets prescribed guidelines.
  • Rolling out fixes and upgrades to software, as needed.
  • Securing software to prevent security breaches and other vulnerabilities.
  • Collecting and reviewing customers' feedback to enhance user experience.
  • Suggesting alterations to workflow in order to improve efficiency and success.
  • Pitching ideas for projects based on gaps in the market and technological advancements.


Required Experience:

  • 4-10 years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Improved the build process to automatically deploy software onto virtualized infrastructure to perform a gamut of regression and performance tests
  • 3-5 years of experience in systems administration or similar
  • Minimum 2 years experience Python programming
  • Experience with cloud platform and cloud automation tools
  • Experience working with Linux
  • Familiarity with CI/CD features for various development projects
  • Knowledge of networking and experience setting up networks of computers
  • Experience working with Firewalls, VPN Tunnels and Secure Authentication (e.g., SSH)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with SQL and Big Data backups
