Senior Blockchain Engineer ( Solidity) $180K - $250K Remote US in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

This role is focused on smart contract development with some backend work. If you're a hacker at heart, thrive in early-stage R&D to full implementation, and are excited about intents, rollups, precompiles, predeploys, proof systems, the EVM, and building for real users, this is for you.

• Design & implement smart contracts for cross-chain proving, intent systems, transaction routing, governance, and rollups.
• Develop backend services that integrate directly with the contracts you build.
• Research & prototype cutting-edge solutions in blockchain technology.
• Influence the protocol roadmap & strategy with your technical expertise.
• Act as a tech lead, driving best practices and architectural decisions.

4+ years of blockchain development experience, with a focus on Ethereum.

Code securing real value in the crypto ecosystem.

Deep expertise in Solidity, the EVM, and smart contract best practices.

Experience with chain abstraction, bridging, intent/relay networks, and their integration into web applications.

Strong problem-solving mindset with high ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.

🚀 Deep knowledge of the rollup ecosystem and Ethereum’s roadmap.

🚀 Experience with AltVM platforms (Solana, Move-based chains, etc.).

🚀 Open-source contributions in the crypto space.

🚀 Backend experience (preferably in TypeScript) for crypto-related services.

🚀 Experience implementing complex math in Solidity.
