Job Title: Vue.js Developer Intern (Unpaid, Remote)

Location: Remote

Duration: 16 weeks (with the possibility of becoming a paid, official position upon completion)

Overview:

Paramount Students is a student-centric platform that simplifies the process of pursuing higher education for anyone, anywhere in the world. Our software development team is responsible for building and maintaining the platform's features and functionality. As a Vue.js Developer Intern, you will work closely with the software development team to build new features and updates. This internship is remote, and you will be expected to have a reliable internet connection and computer to complete your work.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features and updates using Vue.js and related technologies
• Collaborate with the software development team to ensure code quality and consistency
• Contribute to the design and implementation of software architecture
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
• Provide suggestions for improving the platform's performance and user experience
• Participate in troubleshooting and debugging of software issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science or a related field
• Strong understanding of front-end web development technologies and frameworks, including Vue.js
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with other front-end frameworks such as React or Angular a plus
