UX/UI Mobile Designer in CYPRUS

We are codenamed Rock Up - a startup building a brand new social networking & messaging app that integrates real-time geolocation features, and we are looking for a skilled Mobile App UX/UI Designer to join the founding product team. • Designing elegant and engaging UI elements with a focus on mobile-specific usability across both iOS and Android;
• Creating and maintaining a consistent and cohesive design system across the mobile app while adhering to the brand's visual language;
• Working closely with the Product Manager and the development team to align design goals with business and technical requirements;
• Conducting user research, competitive analysis, and usability studies;
• Developing personas, journey maps, and scenarios based on insights from user behavior;
• Creating low-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups using Figma to demonstrate key user flows;
• Staying updated on UX/UI trends, competitive apps, and industry best practices to keep our design modern and innovative.

• 3+ years of experience in UX and UI design, with a focus on mobile applications, preferably social networking, messaging, or geolocation-based apps;
• Expertise in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar;
• Expertise in mobile-first design principles and best practices for iOS and Android platforms;
• Experience in creating interactive prototypes and wireframes;
• Solid knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing;
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present designs and ideas to stakeholders;
• A portfolio showcasing specific work samples, case studies, and results is preferred;
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers and understand basic frontend development concepts (React Native, Flutter, KMP, etc.) is a plus;
• Experience creating design systems for mobile applications from scratch would be an advantage;
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency for editing materials and documenting processes.
