About The Role
We are seeking a talented Wix Web Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating beautiful, functional, and user-friendly websites, mostly using the Wix platform. You will sometimes collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration between design and development. Your work will directly contribute to the online presence of our clients, helping them establish a strong and visually appealing brand identity.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, visually appealing websites on the Wix platform.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and UI designs that translate into fully functional websites.
- Implement designs on Wix, ensuring seamless functionality and a smooth user experience.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure the designs meet quality standards and support the functional requirements.
- Regularly update and improve websites based on user feedback and performance analysis.
- Stay current with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, particularly with Wix and Wix Studio.
- Conduct user testing to ensure optimal usability and functionality.
- Work within deadlines while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Competencies And Qualifications
- Strong understanding of web design principles, UI/UX best practices, and responsive design.
- Proficiency in Wix and Wix Studio, including knowledge of their unique features and tools.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS; familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Must-Have
- 2-4 years of experience in web design or UI/UX design.
- Proficiency in using the Wix and Wix Studio platforms for website design and implementation.
- Strong portfolio showcasing web design work on Wix or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and design principles for responsive websites.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working with other CMS platforms (Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
- Familiarity with SEO principles and web performance optimization.
- Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related fields.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, including social media outreach and lead generation.
