Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Director of Marketing to lead strategy at a fast-growing cybersecurity training company. You’ll shape the marketing vision, drive brand leadership, and accelerate revenue growth.

What you'll be doing
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute a global marketing strategy that integrates digital and traditional channels to position the company as a market leader.
- Build scalable marketing roadmaps aligned with business growth, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, track competitors, and refine messaging.
Data-Driven Marketing & Martech
- Leverage martech tools for performance tracking, campaign optimization, and ROI analysis.
- Use data insights to refine marketing strategies and improve lead generation.
- Monitor global cybersecurity trends, adjusting campaigns to maintain thought leadership.
Brand & Content Strategy
- Strengthen brand positioning and corporate messaging within the cybersecurity industry.
- Oversee the creation of high-impact content, such as blogs, whitepapers, webinars, and social media to drive engagement and industry authority.
- Manage PR, media relations, and crisis communications to protect and enhance brand reputation.
Lead Generation & Growth Marketing
- Develop demand generation strategies to drive inbound and outbound lead acquisition.
- Align marketing efforts with sales to optimize conversion rates and revenue impact.
- Implement SEO, PPC, email marketing, and automation tools for scalable growth.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team across all functions (content, digital, events, partnerships).
- Work closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to ensure marketing alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as a senior advisor to leadership, presenting data-driven insights and growth projections.
Financial & Compliance Oversight
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resource efficiency and maximum ROI.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while enhancing the impact of marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with the Web department to ensure all marketing activities comply with UK/EU regulations (e.g., GDPR).
What we need from you
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior marketing role, preferably within the technology or cybersecurity sectors.
- Proven track record in leading complex, global marketing operations using a data-driven approach.
Digital Marketing Expertise:
- Strong command of digital marketing strategies, including automation, business intelligence, and content optimization.
Strategic & Analytical Skills:
- Demonstrated ability in market planning, marketing management, and market research.
- Experience in developing comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication & Leadership:
- Exceptional leadership abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective stakeholder management capabilities, with experience in both B2C and B2B marketing, as well as enterprise sales strategies.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
