Job Title: Manual Tester - Derivatives Trading

Start Date: 10/03/2025

Location: Fully Remote

Job Type: 12 month contract - very likely to extend

Company: Prestigious financial services client

Language Requirements: German (B2 or C1) and English

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in testing in software development in electronic derivatives trading in financial markets, both exchange traded as well as OTC
• Experience with client-server architectures
• Office 365 tools, in particular Excel
• MS Windows and/or Unix (preferably Linux) operating systems
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with team members in different locations and across geographies
• Experience with software for banks and financial services companies, especially in trading and pricing derivatives (warrants, certificates, options, futures)
• Database knowledge (SQL - Oracle)

Job Responsibilities:

• Definition of relevant test cases from functional software specifications, including the definition of relevant test data
• Execution of manual functional test cases
• Analysis and validation of test results, including the analysis of log files, database entries, etc.
• Analysis and reporting of test results to project teams
• Establishing and maintaining test environments (application deployment, configuration, verification of correct installation)
• Analysing defects and collaborating with development and product groups to determine root causes of issues
