Description
Software Development Engineer in Test
- Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, development, maintenance and execution of automation tests scripts.
- Identify, record and thoroughly document bugs.
- Responsible for developing and maintain automated test data
- Responsible for the automation and the timely delivery of different testing milestones.
- Responsible for the Automation CI/CD Pipeline (development and maintenance).
- Support in Defect Management process.
- Responsible for compliance and contributing to our IoT CI/CD strategy
- Knowledge and skill requirements:
- Experience in Java
- Knowledge of CI/CD Tooling (e.g. Jenkins, Circle CI)
- Experience with TestNG: Annotations and Framework
- Experience with BDD namely Cucumber
- Hands on experience with Selenium
- API Testing
- UI Testing
- Jira and Confluence
- Degree in Technology or Computer Engineering (or similar).
Experience in developing /Managing Native test framework
- Nice to have:
- Experience with IoT
- Knowledge of Git
- Knowledge in Docker and Containerization
- Knowledge with Kubernetes
- Experience with Postman
From WOThe high level scope of the project is to enhance the automation framework and align it with the
ServicesDeliverables to be provided as part of the Services
The following activities will be performed as part of this project:
- Define Automation strategy for invent (with existing automation team)
- Analyzing project documents
- Creation of new test cases
- Implementation of automation scripts
- Execution (manual or automated) of automation suites in any environment
- Defect management (defect reporting and validation)
- Use of JIRA for test definition and test cycles creation
- Progress and final test reports
- Participation on team meetings
- The following are excluded:
- Load and performance testing
- Out of office hours support
- Must have: - Degree in Technology or Computer Engineering (or similar).
- Availability: Immediate
- Seniority: Senior (min 8 years )
- Languages & Soft Skills:
Good communication skills Team spirit and flexibility to work together with consultants in a different timeline.
