The Opportunity
We are looking for a great frontend developer to a short 3 months contract, start date ASAP. What we need is an experience frontend dev that can very quickly pick up the tasks and get productive with the help of our in-house Frontend Lead and Head of Product.
It needs to be a person that can think on their own and be a part of the team creating the best possible user experience for our users. Preferably in the London area so that it is possible to come into the Expian office and work together with the people there a few days a week.
MUST HAVE
- Can speak design with designers, tech with developers and translate it all into well working UI.
- React
- Non framework Javascript
- Non framework CSS
- SVG creation and asset manipulation
- Semantic HTML
- Some understanding of accessibility/WCAG
- CSS in JS
- Chakra UI
- Browser quirks
- Able to read and follow others work
- Ability to understand and follow backend
NICE HAVE
- Build tools and environment files (particularly frontend tool chains)
- Deployment processes
- API/SDK integration from third party services
Contract Details
- Duration: 3 months, with potential for extension
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Location: Hybrid (London) or Fully Remote
