About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in Western Canada. Reporting to the Regional Director, this role is focused on identifying new business opportunities, expanding geographic reach, and driving sales for automation, digitalization, and field-based services.


Location: Flexible (Vancouver Metro preferred, but Calgary or the Greater Toronto area will be considered)


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Mining & Mineral Processing industry
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key customers and strategic partners
  • Develop and execute sales and market expansion strategies
  • Present innovative automation and digitalization solutions to clients
  • Track and maintain professional communication throughout the sales cycle
  • Represent the company at industry events and professional organizations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive growth and enhance service offerings
  • Travel within North America (approximately 50%)

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of experience in automation, digitalization, optimization, or simulation (preferably in mining/mineral processing)
  • A track record of success in technical capital sales, forecasting, CRM, and strategic planning
  • Excellent presentation, relationship-building, and sales skills
  • A self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to travel (valid driver’s license and passport required)
