Senior Cloud Engineer (relocation to Belgium) in PORTUGAL

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will join the Infrastructure Production Team and act as the Point of Contact (POC) for the migration from DMZr V4 to DMZr as code within an IBM Cloud environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud infrastructure initiatives in a dynamic and collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration from DMZr V4 to DMZr as code in an IBM cloud environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure using Gitlab-CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Argo-CD.
• Deploy and manage cloud services with Kubernetes, Openshift, Helm, Terraform, Hvault, and S3.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Lead and host "Cloud Friday" training sessions to upskill team members.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges with a proactive approach.

Required Hard Skills

• Proven experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer, ideally in the financial services or asset management sector.
• In-depth knowledge of multi-cloud platforms, including IBM Cloud, AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps toolchains such as Gitlab-CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Argo-CD.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure technologies like Kubernetes, Openshift, Helm, Terraform, Hvault, and S3.
• Strong understanding of IBM Cloud services and infrastructure.

• Location: On-site in Brussels, with a flexible hybrid model (50% remote).
