Responsibilities
Smart Contract Design and Development
Design, develop, and optimize Solidity smart contracts that form the backbone of the SKALE Network.
Work on critical network components such as staking mechanisms, tokenomics, chain management, and the SKALE Bridge.
Code Optimization and Security
Ensure the robustness and efficiency of smart contracts with a focus on security best practices.
Collaborate with the team to conduct code reviews and improve contract performance.
Collaboration and Integration
Work closely with other teams focusing on infrastructure (Python + TypeScript) and blockchain client development (C++).
Coordinate with the broader engineering team to ensure seamless integration across all network layers.
Open-Source Contributions
Engage with the open-source community by contributing to SKALE’s repositories, providing transparency and promoting collaboration.
Requirements
Technical Expertise
Proficiency in Solidity smart contract development with a deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
Experience with development tools such as Hardhat and Remix.
Strong skills in TypeScript and familiarity with libraries like ethers.js.
Hands-on experience with OpenZeppelin libraries is highly valued.
Blockchain Knowledge
Solid understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized systems, and Ethereum-based networks.
Awareness of the latest trends and challenges in the blockchain ecosystem.
Development Practices
Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in optimizing smart contracts for efficiency and security.
