Junior C++ Developer

Elite Hedge Fund - Unique Career Opportunity with relocation to Bahamas

We're seeking a talented C++ Developer to join an extremely successful quantitative trading firm, working directly with the fund's owner on mission-critical simulation software.

The Role

You'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a proprietary simulation environment, working closely with the quant research team and fund owner. This is a unique opportunity to work on software that's been instrumental to the firms success since 1992.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance and maintain C++ simulation environment using MFC
  • Implement UI improvements and new features based on direct user feedback
  • Work closely with senior researchers and the fund owner
  • Ensure high performance and reliability of the simulation platform
  • Participate in system testing and deployment

Required Skills

  • Strong C++ programming skills
  • Windows desktop application development experience
  • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Adaptable mindset and ability to work closely with key stakeholders schedule

Nice to Have

  • Experience with MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes)
  • C# and Python knowledge
  • Financial markets experience, particularly in FX or Futures
  • Statistics or Mathematics background
