What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain a consumer-facing marketplace and provider SaaS booking system.
• Implement and maintain UI standards for a seamless user experience.
• Manage integrations (payments, email, business partners).
• Optimise performance and improve data pipelines for business analytics.

What We’re Looking For

• Ruby on Rails expertise (must-have).
• Strong front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience working across the full stack, from UI to database.
• Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of their work.
• Strong advocate for clean, test-covered code.
• Agile experience and ability to adapt to evolving requirements.

Nice to Have

• Consumer-facing web or mobile app experience.
• Online payments (Stripe).
• Mentoring or leadership experience.
• Hybrid native app development.

• Backend: Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, Postgres, Sidekiq
• Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Infrastructure: Heroku, GitHub, CircleCI, Scout APM
• Tools: Jira, Basecamp

Salary & Hours

💰 £55-65k (pro-rata for part-time).

🕒 Flexible – full-time or part-time (min. 25 hrs/week).
