Role Description
· Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure components, including virtual networks, storage accounts, compute resources, and security components.
· Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or ARM templates for consistent and repeatable deployments.
· Automation: Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation tools.
· Security Implementation: Implement and manage Azure security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection.
· Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance and cost of Azure cloud resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
· Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure cloud infrastructure to maintain system stability.
· System Migration: Design system migration plans and implement migration solutions to the Azure environment, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.
· Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with development teams to design and implement cloud-native applications and mentor junior cloud engineers.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 3+ years of IT Infrastructure / Cloud management experience heavily focused on Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
· Demonstrable expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM templates, coupled with strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) and experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools.
· Solid understanding of networking (VPNs, firewalls, load balancers), Azure security best practices, compliance frameworks, and excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential, along with familiarity with ITIL best practices.
· Proven experience in cloud migration design and implementation is required.
· Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
· Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring/logging tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana) is a plus.
