At Zone & Co., Product Directors oversee application lifecycles, from ideation through customer implementation and retention. This role will manage a team that provides oversight, expertise, and structure for the product lifecycle, continually driving toward growth.  In essence, the Product Director is responsible for ensuring that the products in their sphere align with company strategy, meet customer needs, and are delivered efficiently by all business units. They will grow and mentor a team of Product Owners and associated functions to raise the Zone Platform to new heights.

 The Product Director will have strategic responsibilities to ensure product development, market approach, and adoption are being properly addressed by their team. They will report metrics and progress to the VP of Product and CTO on a regular basis, as well as drive execution of company strategy. In alignment with their peers, they will craft processes and operations that make the Product organization more efficient and productive. 

Product Director Responsibilities:

• Manage team of Product Owners and related functions


• Maintain high level oversight of Zone Product Lifecycle from ideation, through build, to adoption in order to fulfill strategic initiatives and meet revenue goals


• Liase with leadership stakeholders from GoToMarket, Services, Customer Success, et al.


• Report metrics, as well as strategic plans for efficiency and operational improvement, to VP of Product


• Establish prioritization of new development with strategic guidance from VP


• Maintain oversight of JIRA Product Roadmap; report progress overviews to VP


• Document cross-functional workstreams for new offerings


• Drive collaboration across Presales, Sales, Marketing, Knowledge, Legal, IT, and Finance


• Represent Zone products in both internal and external forums, such as webinars, networking events, and marketing events. 


• Gather and analyze data to understand team performance & plan improvements


• Drive implementation of feedback and adoption data from Internal, Partner, and Customer stakeholders


• Strive to build constant process improvement and efficiency gains

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


• Broad business experience, with an understanding of commercial strategy and product/feature launch workstreams


• 10+ years of experience in Product Management or similar role


• Functional and technical experience with enterprise business intelligence tools, e.g. PowerBI, and functional understanding of how they integrate into enterprise cloud architecture


• Illustrated knowledge of enterprise cloud solutions and how finance processes flow through them


• Well-practiced analytical and project management skills, with a track record of  successfully managing projects to aggressive timelines


• Technical ability to become a product expert, analyze complex data to evaluate product performance, & make data-driven decisions


• Exposure to Agile development framework


• Experience designing and/or managing end-to-end Product Development lifecycle


• Experience in market analysis and gathering competitive intelligence


• Proficiency in JIRA and data management
