fully remote Back-End Developer from
Eastern Europe to build a feature-rich app for their wearable device. The app will provide real-time health monitoring, emergency alerts, and personalized health insights, empowering users with advanced AI-driven recommendations.
Employment is as a full-time contractor or W2. No visa sponsorship or C2C available for this opportunity.

We are looking for a skilled
Back-End Developer to build and maintain the core infrastructure of our mobile application. You’ll play a key role in developing secure, scalable, and efficient systems that integrate seamlessly with our wearable device and third-party health platforms.

Remote Back-End Developer Requirements
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer in a health-tech startup or medical device environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go.
- Expertise in database management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience developing and optimizing APIs for mobile applications.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, PHI handling, and healthcare data security.
- Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
- Familiarity with EHR integrations (Epic, Athena, etc.).
- Bonus: Experience in Machine Learning and mobile app back-end development.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a remote team environment.
Remote Back-End Developer Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure for our mobile application.
- Optimize and manage APIs for seamless communication between the mobile app, wearable device, and cloud services.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and handle PHI and other sensitive healthcare data securely.
- Integrate with third-party health APIs and EHR platforms such as Epic and Athena.
- Develop robust authentication and security protocols.
- Manage and optimize databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with the front-end team, data scientists, and product managers to improve app performance and functionality.
- Implement AI-driven health analytics to enhance user experience.
- Work in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating autonomy and problem-solving skills.
