Junior Backend Developer – AI Automation in JAKARTA METROPOLITAN AREA

We are an AI automation consultancy based in Dubai, UAE with global clients at the forefront of developing cutting-edge automation solutions. Our focus is on AI-driven automation, workflow optimization, and LLM-based reasoning models. We work internally for clients and also develop automation templates for our Skool community.

We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer who is passionate about AI automation, fast-learning, and eager to push boundaries in the AI agent space.

• Develop and maintain AI-powered automation solutions.
• Build and optimize backend systems using Node.js, Python, and FastAPI.
• Work with automation tools like n8n and Make.com to create scalable workflows.
• Integrate with APIs including OpenAI, OpenRouter, Meta Business API, and Airtable.
• Manage and optimize SQL and vector databases (Pinecone) for AI applications.
• Deploy and maintain backend services on Hetzner and Digital Ocean.
• Implement Cloudflare Workers for efficient API routing and security.
• Develop and maintain basic landing pages as needed.
• Work in an asynchronous, fast-paced environment, collaborating via Slack, Asana, and Google Workspace.

• 2-3 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with n8n, Make.com, and API integrations.
• Good understanding of LLMs, reasoning models, and OpenAI API.
• Experience working with SQL databases and Pinecone vector storage.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting (Hetzner, Digital Ocean).
• Ability to work remotely and be available Monday–Friday from 8 AM UAE time.
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and willingness to tackle complex challenges.
• Fast learner who stays ahead in AI automation and AI agent development.
• Advanced knowledge of the English language in written and spoken form.

• Experience with meta business API and other social media automation.
• Previous work on AI chatbots, automation templates, or agent-based workflows.
• Contributions to open-source AI automation projects.
