Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and creative Remote Junior/Intermediate Developer. This fully remote role offers a unique opportunity to work on developing and maintaining/improving our client's applications and web services. As a contractor at Waltworks, you will not only contribute to our projects but also enhance your skills through company-sponsored courses and hands-on mentorship from experienced developers.

We are looking for both Flutter mobile application developers and Vue.js web developers.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Assist in developing and maintaining either mobile applications using Flutter/Dart or web applications using Vue.js and vanilla Javascript.
• Assist in developing and maintaining backend rest services using C#.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality software.

Professional Development

• Engage in company-sponsored courses to enhance your development skills.
• Stay current with trends in mobile development.
• Receive mentorship and guidance directly from our founder.

Team Collaboration

• Work under the guidance of our founder.
• Actively participate in remote team meetings and code review sessions.
• Incorporate feedback into code revisions and contribute to development brainstorming sessions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Required Skills

• Basic proficiency in C# and Flutter/Dart or Vue.js and vanilla Javascript.
• Basic understanding of Git.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a remote team and willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Employment Type

Fully Remote 12-month contract with the option to renew.

Work Hours

40 hours a week / 160 hours a month.

Flexible hours suitable for a remote work arrangement.

Compensation

A competitive market rate depending on experience and qualifications.
