Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated HR Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur and contribute to the success of our organization. This role offers the opportunity to manage all aspects of human resources processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing HR strategies that align with the overall business plan, ensuring compliance with National Employment Regulations and other relevant policies.
Reporting to the HR Director, EASP Markets, you will play a key role in driving HR operations across multiple functions, including payroll, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and reporting
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Administration & Operations
- Handle day-to-day HR operations for KL commercial office.
- Payroll Processing: process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements. Handle employees’ queries related to tax.
- Insurance & Claims: Manage employee insurance, medical benefits and claims, addressing inquiries and ensuring timely resolution.
- Employee & Industrial Relations: Support employee concerns, engagement activities, and industrial relations matters to maintain a positive work environment.
- Performance Management: Assist with performance reviews and ensure timely completion.
- HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal or external audits, and prepare required reports.
- HR Strategy Support: Provide research and insights to assist with HR strategy and data-informed decision-making.
- Policy Implementation: Help implement and communicate company policies, ensuring alignment with organizational changes.
- Advise on performance issues, conflict resolution, and manage underperforming staff through improvement plans. Maintain and update employee records, including career progression, salary adjustments, and absences.
- Handle work pass processes, including applications, renewals, and cancellations.
- Coordinate employee mobility benefits such as housing, car rentals, and relocation support.
2. Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Offboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to recruit and onboard top talent for offices in Malaysia.
- Prepare and manage employment documentation, including offer letters and contracts.
- Deliver comprehensive orientation programs for new hires.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions for employees.
- Manage employee benefits, including medical insurance enrolment and deregistration.
3. Regional HR Projects and Initiatives
- Support regional HR projects, including training, surveys, and HRIS implementation etc.
- Coordinate HR-related meetings and initiatives to drive engagement and alignment.
Profile Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field;
- Minimum 8 years relevant work experience with good knowledge and application of employment legislation and governance standards;
- Familiarity with labor laws and a basic understanding of financial principles.
