Senior Information Security Analyst in UNITED KINGDOM

Senior Information Security Analyst – Remote, Australian time zone – 3 month contract (initially)

Synchro is proud to be partnering with a well-known organisation who are actively seeking to hire an Information Security Analyst to join the organisations established Information Security team.

This role will be fully remote, however will cover support for the Australian time zone, from approx. 04:00 – 12:00 UK.

You will provide Information Security support to triage alerts (level 2 &3) and provide incident response and documentation. Security Architecture guidance is also required, and you will collaborate with DevSecOps and other technical service teams. You will have a thorough understanding of compliance including SOC 2 and ISO27001. You will have a strong background in providing support across Windows security and have a solid working knowledge of either AWS or GCP, ideally both.

Ideally you will be CISSP certified.

Any experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript would be highly beneficial.

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience of working in a similar Information Security Analyst role.
• Familiarity with ISO27001 as well as SOC 2.
• An understanding of AWS and/ or GCP.
• CISSP (or similar) certified.

Role Summary

Role: Senior Information Security Analyst

Contract Length: 3 months initially

Rate: £500 - £550 per day – Outside of IR35

Location: London - with hybrid remote working
