About the role
Are you a creative thinker with a passion for designing engaging, high-impact customer experiences? Do you enjoy collaborating across teams, turning complex ideas into visually compelling presentations and materials? As a Junior Graphic Designer, you’ll be at the heart of our value-driven workshops, supporting our customer-facing teams by creating tailored, impactful collateral that directly influences customer engagement and outcomes. From crafting polished presentations and proposals to designing customer-centric resources, you’ll play a critical role in our mission to deliver top-tier solutions to our customers.
In your first week, expect to:
- Immerse yourself in Makosi – our vision, values, and the role we play in creating exceptional customer outcomes.
- Meet with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business objectives.
- Familiarize yourself with our brand guidelines, current collateral, and our processes.
In your first month, expect to:
- Dive into designing customer-facing collateral, working closely with our teams to tailor decks, proposals, and workshops to specific customer needs.
- Collaborate with the Solutions Design team in optimizing existing materials and contributing fresh ideas to improve customer experience through design.
- Partner with our customer-facing teams in proposal development and enhancing the overall visual and strategic appeal of customer presentations.
In your first three months, expect to:
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams to understand nuances of customer feedback and refine collateral accordingly.
- Build a library of reusable solutions design templates and assets, ensuring we have a scalable toolkit for consistent and efficient collateral creation.
In your first year, expect to:
- Take ownership of the collateral design process, leading the creation of high-impact presentations, proposals, and customer deliverables.
- Explore and incorporate the latest design technologies, tools, and AI developments to streamline workflows, improve visual impact, and innovate new ways to engage customers.

Requirements & Skills
- 1-3 years of design experience in graphic design, marketing, or visual communications, ideally with exposure to customer-facing projects.
- Strong understanding of design principles, branding, typography, and layout, with a sharp eye for detail and quality.
- Ability to create compelling, tailored presentations and proposals aligned with brand standards.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience designing within corporate, financial, or tech-driven brand styles is preferred.
- Confident in creating and working with vector graphics and illustrations as needed.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing deadlines and multiple projects.
- Collaborative and proactive, with strong communication skills to present and refine ideas with key stakeholders.
- Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and emerging technologies to boost creativity and efficiency is a plus.
- Excellent project management skills, balancing multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- A problem-solving mindset, using creativity to tackle challenges within corporate and customer contexts.
