UI Designer in COSTA RICA

Role: User Interface (UI) Designer (eCommerce)

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 12 months

Work Hours: US Time

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in Costa Rica)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Customer obsession and passion for creating simple and delightful experiences
• High degree of focus and passion for the consistency of UI designs
• Outstanding UX/UI ability, including interaction design, visual design, product thinking.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce UX/UI best practices
• Experience conducting user research, from discovery to evaluative, applying usability tests, and defining / analysing metrics to inform design decisions.
• Expertise using Figma to develop UI designs and interactive prototypes and manage design portfolios, including application of design system standards (familiarity with the Client Design System a plus)
• Solid foundation in usability and accessibility standards
• Strong, proactive collaboration and self-management skills, comfortable working with a small and agile team.
• 3+ years of UX/UI experience
• eCommerce experience (particularly B2B) is a plus
• Portfolio of work demonstrating UX/UI design skills and processes.
• Ability to support B2B/eCommerce projects end-to-end from interviewing stakeholders to delivering high-fidelity designs to measuring success.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
