About the Role

We're seeking an experienced TechOps Manager to lead our IT Support Team and help us grow our IT Infrastructure to the next level.

Join RavenPack and help us maintain multiple cloud and on-premise services, supporting a fast-growing technology company. You will research and deploy new services, and help to design and maintain our 99.99% uptime system across a cutting-edge infrastructure.

As a TechOps Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Operations. In this role, your primary duties will include managing the IT department, collaborating with various departments to assess their technology needs, while formulating and implementing solutions that align with our company's goals and growth needs.

To excel as a TechOps Manager, you should possess strong technical acumen, along with exceptional service vocation, communication and team leadership. Ultimately, a top-notch TechOps Manager will be responsible for ensuring the seamless, secure, and up-to-date functionality of our organization's technology infrastructure and IT processes.

The ability to communicate effectively in English both in writing and verbally is a must. Knowledge of Spanish is welcome, but not a business requirement.

European Union legal working status is required.

Relocation assistance available, but working remotely is not possible for this position.

Responsibilities as a TechOps Manager:

Your role will involve strategizing, overseeing the development, and maintaining IT infrastructure solutions to provide support for the company's users.

• Overseeing and coordinating all IT operations on-prem infrastructure, including onboarding, ticketing, and day-to-day support
• Running the IT Service area, providing support to the rest of the organization.
• Implement process improvements and leverage tools to enhance the productivity and scalability of the IT service team.
• Liaising with other departments to determine and address their IT requirements to ensure alignment between service operations and strategic initiatives
• Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to the IT service team
• Ensuring the maintenance of current projects and technology systems.
• Preparing financial budgets and performance reports.
• Building and maintaining relationships with external advisors and vendors.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• At least 3 years of management experience in an IT environment.
• Experience working at Help Desk Support queues, problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Demonstrated experience with industry frameworks for IT management, like ITIL or ISO20000
• Working experience under security standards (ISO27001, SOC2)
• System Administrator experience (Linux, Windows, MacOs) for medium to large-scale infrastructure enterprises.
• Demonstrable knowledge of network design and troubleshooting.
• Experience at work and communication with external providers.

Desirable:

• Basic database Administration (relational and NoSQL).
• Scripting experience (bash, python, powershell…).
• Automation/provision tools (Chef, Ansible...).
• Cloud environments (AWS, Azure...)
• 3rd party SaaS (Google Workspaces, Dropbox Business, BackBlaze/B2)
