18-Month Contract | Large-Scale ERP Migration Project

The Role

As the Senior Project Manager – Data Migration, you will lead the data migration workstream for a large-scale SAP to Oracle Cloud ERP project. Working closely with multiple programme workstreams and stakeholders, you’ll ensure the seamless migration of data across legacy and new systems, driving technical and functional alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle of the data migration workstream, from ideation to implementation.
• Oversee technical feasibility studies and deliver high-quality outcomes within the agreed scope, timeframe, and quality standards.
• Align cross-stream dependencies and resolve technical challenges related to integration, data governance, and migration.
• Define and manage mock cutover and cutover plans to ensure data integrity and continuity.
• Perform data cleansing, de-duplication, and validation for a high-quality migration process.
• Manage internal teams of data engineers and multiple external vendors to achieve project goals.
• Ensure compliance with project governance standards and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the migration process.

About You

You are a hands-on Project Manager with significant experience managing end-to-end ERP implementations and complex data migrations. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a proven track record in delivering large-scale system integration projects.

Whilst experience in the utilities sector is not essential, it would be highly beneficial.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in ERP implementations.
• Full-cycle ERP project management experience with at least 3–5 large digital projects under your belt.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Expertise in data migration, governance, and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in data mapping and test management.
• Experience managing teams of 20+ people and coordinating multiple vendors.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
• Previous experience with Oracle SaaS and SAP ERP systems is highly preferred.
