AI Engineer (PhD-Level Expertise) – Web3 & Autonomous AI Agents

Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize AI agent architectures within the Web3 paradigm.
- Design machine learning and deep learning algorithms for decentralized environments.
- Integrate AI solutions with blockchain, including smart contracts, zk-proofs, and cryptographic privacy-preserving methods.
- Research and implement novel approaches for training models on encrypted data (Secure Multi-Party Computation, Federated Learning, Homomorphic Encryption).
- Build scalable systems for processing large volumes of data in distributed environments.
- Optimize AI models for operation in resource-constrained settings.
- Contribute to scientific research and publish results in leading AI/Web3 journals and conferences.
- Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and blockchain engineers to integrate AI into the company’s ecosystem.
Requirements:
Education & Research Expertise:
- PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, Mathematical Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience in top AI research or industrial projects.
- Publications in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ICLR, AAAI) or AI/ML journals, with the ability to conduct deep scientific research and analysis.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Experience with ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, as well as LangChain and other AI development tools.
- Expertise in building, optimizing, and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs), including Transformer architectures.
- Knowledge of cryptographic methods (ZK-SNARKs, HE, MPC) and their applications in AI.
- Hands-on experience with dApps, smart contracts (Solidity, Rust), and decentralized data storage.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing, federated learning, cloud, and edge computing.
Programming & DevOps:
- Proficiency in Python and C++/Rust.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architectures.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL, IPFS, BigQuery) and stream-processing frameworks (Kafka, Flink).
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proven experience in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Willingness to solve challenging research problems that go beyond standard ML solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in AI/ML or Web3 startups.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a significant impact in the AI/Web3 ecosystem.
- Experience developing AI solutions for finance, healthcare, or DeFi applications.
- Deep understanding of AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) architectures and the future of autonomous AI agents.
